What We Do

Sense of Self Wellness & Psychotherapy LLC is a boutique psychotherapy practice which specializes in holistic, spiritual, somatic, and Buddhist approaches to help regulate your nervous system. We provide a safe and compassionate space for you to explore your feelings, heal, and grow towards positive change. We offer wellness centered psychotherapy sessions for college/graduate level students, working professionals and individuals located in New Jersey and New York.

Our Services

Individual Therapy

Our individual therapy sessions are tailored to address your therapeutic needs. We understand the hardships and challenges that life can present and hold value in your experiences. There is no "one size fits all" approach here. We selectively utilize holistic techniques, relational work and Eastern wisdom perspectives to complement your attachment style for more deeper emotional processing. We offer weekly 50 minute sessions virtually for clients in NY & virtual/in person by appointment sessions for NJ clients.

Group Therapy

Find healing and support through the strength of numbers. You might be surprised to learn that there are many people who are going through similar experiences. You will meet weekly in a confidential group setting to share and identify new coping tools, and gain new perspectives to navigate your problems. This will allow you to feel less alone in your struggles, validate your feelings, and build connections and insights. Group therapy can also foster a deep sense of belonging with others who also feel what you feel.

Meditation & Reiki

Our individual meditation sessions offer a space for you to learn to sit with breath, body and emotions. Through body scans, Buddhist compassion based meditations and breath work exercises, you can cultivate a deeper relationship and awareness towards your emotions. Reiki sessions can be done in person or via distant healing on a video platform. Energetic healings offer emotional releases for relaxation and restoration. These sessions can help to bring calmness and ease in daily life.

What can I expect during a session?

At Sense of Self Wellness & Psychotherapy LLC, we utilize holistic, spiritual, somatic, and Buddhist approaches to help regulate your nervous system and promote overall well-being. Each session is personalized to address your specific concerns and support your journey towards wholeness.

I am in network with Aetna in NY/NJ, Cigna (NJ), Quest Behavioral Health (NY/NJ), I can provide superbills for those with out of network benefits which can often depend on your plan which can offer a partial or high rate of reimbursement. My standard rates per session are $175-210.

Therapy is a safe space for anyone to enter to feel heard, supported and understood. Therapy is a safe refuge for those navigating major life stressors, mental health and mood challenges and for those deeper guidance in during difficult life events. Therapy can also be a space you dedicate to yourself for personal growth, self reflection and building connection to your sense of self.
